The "-ber" Month:The sign that Christmas is Coming to Town

I was thinking a while if what is the best to write for my blog. And suddenly I heard a Christmas music. I wonder why my neighbor plays those kind of music and I just realize that it is already September 1. This day signifies that Christmas is coming now in the town and that is what I would like to write about now.

Christmas Day is my top favorite day in a year(second is New Year and third is my birthday, Etc....). Every time when the first "-ber" month arrives people always think that it is the start of Christmas. One of the common things that they usually do is greeting each other a "Merry Christmas". It really sounds good that somebody will tell you that. Another sign also that Christmas is really coming is that radio station starts to play Christmas song. Whenever I hear this kind of music it feels like I am refreshed and feels like you don't have a problem. It makes you jive and sing along with the songs.

Another sign that the first "-ber" month is the start of Christmas season is when you see children caroling in your house. Before I get irritated when they do a caroling in our house but I realize that is nice to see those children in front of you singing Christmas song and I sometimes laugh because their lyrics are wrong.

One of my favorite Christmas song is entitled Sleigh Ride by Leroy Anderson. But the video this is revived by Babyface and sounds more modernize.

Advance Merry Christmas to all. (P.S. Don't forget my Christmas  Gift.. LOL)

My Top 3 Favorite Philippine Spot!

I have lots of places that I am planning to travel. But here are the top three places in the Philippines that I would like to visit:

Boracay Island.  Boracay is a great place to experience the beauty and adventure within the island. It has a powdery white sand beach which makes it famous. Aside of that, the Island have 20 scuba dive spot, restaurant and hotel which make it more famous. This would be a great spot to do scuba diving and snorkeling because it has a wide range or coral reefs and marine life forms.

Mt Apo, Davao. Mount Apo is a place good for hiking and adventure. Along the way, you can see lots of plants but only a little bit of wildlife animals. What is really good at the top of the mountain is seeing the sunrise. After seeing it you can really say how beautiful the world is. Looking the view at the top of the mountain is really nice and awesome.

Palawan. Palawan is famous to be one of the Philippines well preserved island. It is composed of coral reefs, long white sand beaches  and clear blue sea waters which make it best among the rest.  Another thing is that the province has a wildlife sanctuary which is good for wildlife adventure. Palawan became famous around the world because it is nominated to be one of the new seven wonders of nature. Tubbataha Reef and Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park is the place that must not be missed when you are in Palawan.

How I wish that I could go to this places soon.

K Steak Unlimited: You're Unlimited Steak Dining Place

If you're craving for steak for your lunch and dinner, there's a place here in Davao where you can have as much steak as you can. In short, Unlimited Steak. Well, K Steak Unlimited is a new established restaurant in Davao that offers an Unlimited steak(beef, pork, fish and chicken) and freshly grilled in front of you. They give you a very tasty and delicious treat that you will surely crave and look for.

When I dine in their restaurant, I tasted their grilled pork, grilled catfish and their grilled beef steak. They also offer a wide variety of sauce that you can play with the steak. This enhance the flavor and makes it more yummy. Aside of that, they also offer buffet meal with different type of food. I love their pasta because of it's sauce(I'm not sure but I think its a cheese sauce). I also love on how they prepare their fresh lumpia. On the corner of the room, there's a salad table where you can create you're own vegetable salad which you can also mix on the steak.

In terms of their place, you can find it a very warm and cozy. The color looks very pleasing to the eye which gives a simple yet elegant look. I don't have any problem on the place and aside of that the griller area have a great ventilation which prevent the smoke from the griller to be spread on the room.
I would strongly recommend you to try K-Steak Unlimited as a place for you to dine in here in Davao City. It is located at Loreto Corner Macopa Sts. Juna Subd. Matina, Davao City. They are open from Monday to Sunday from 11:00am-2:00pm and 6:00pm to 9:00pm. They offer:

Helping the Victims of Flash Flood

July 6, 2011- I, together with my friends went to Km. 9 Matina Pangi to help the people who was been devastated by the flash flood last evening of June 28. I feel sad when I saw the place. I really thought that the place was slightly damage but it was really severe. It was my first time to see a devastated place caused by the flash flood. The concrete bridge was severely broken and most of the house was damage and most of their clothes were washed out by the flood.

We visited the site and bring the necessary things needed by the people around the place. We distributed used clothes and blankets to comfort them while they are asleep. We also distributed bags and slippers for the children.

As I look into the face of those people that we had given, I can really say that they are very happy and glad that we came. Every clothes that we give means a lot to them. There was also a woman who approaches us if she can have blanket for her mother and thanks God that there still a blanket for her mother.

We have also seen lots of children who didn't went to school because they don't have any school supplies like bags, notebooks, pencil, papers etc. That is why we once again decided to go back to the site this coming Wednesday to give them school supplies. If you are a kind person and wants to help these children who are in need, you may help us  giving any donation that you can give. Just leave a comment to help them.

Day 3: About my Friends

"Your friend is the man who knows all about you, and still likes you."

The quote that I mention above exactly describe my friends.  I do have many friends. Friends from my hometown, my close friends in high school and college. They are always  there in times when I'm down and trouble or during my happy moments.
Below are my friends in high school until now:

We usually have our get together every January 1. We usually held it every January 1 so that we will not be going to have a chip-in for our food because its New Year's Day and most of my friends prepares food and they will just bring food at the beach. We also have our get together during our town parochial fiesta.

As I went to college, I gained new friends. Whether you agree with me or not, the relationship between friends in high school and college is different. I am more open and comfortable sharing secrets with my high school friends than my college friends but I prefer travelling from different place with my college friends.

We are not enemies, but friends.  We must not be enemies.  Though passion may have strained, it must not break our bonds of affection.  The mystic cords of memory will swell when again touched as surely they will be by the better angels of our nature.
